Along with my current page marker, I'm adding a new one:
Current Main Character Death Toll: 1.5 (I count Hedwig as a half.)
As much as Rowling totally juked us out and made us think Hagrid was dead only to bring him back fine, he's SO dead by the end. It goes with my counting backwards theory. Hedwig was his second friend in the wizard world. Hagrid's his first, thus he's gotta go.
Also, I love when the book and the movie totally disagree. The big special effect of the latest movie was all the flying Death Eaters. Except that when Voldemort starts flying early in Deathly Hallows, everyone's all "Damn! That dude is wicked powerful!" (See how I used wicked cause we're talking about witches?) It kinda kills the mystique when every person to graduate Hogwarts can do that.
Um, done for now, I think. Back to work.
I think technically in the movie they were apparating or disapparating or whatever. However, it does show that at least not everyone had read the deathly hallows in the directorial world
